Venmo and Cash App users unite in a class-action lawsuit against Apple, claiming that licensing agreements with the company restrict the use of decentralized cryptocurrency payments (P2P).
The lawsuit argues that such limitations force users to bear an additional 30% fee, alleging Appleʼs violation of antitrust laws.
Plaintiffs seek compensation for extra charges resulting from Appleʼs alleged intentional stifling of competition. Additionally, they demand Apple either sell off or split its business segment related to payment processing.
